Additionally, the impact of other cellular machinery (i.e microtubules) on the efficacy of endosome migration is explored, highlighting the intricate collaborative nature of the cell.

The breed of dog that should be saved is the Belgian Malinois. The Belgian Malinois is a highly intelligent breed that can be trained to perform an assortment of tasks efficiently making it an ideal companion. It also has an extremely low number of chronic health problems like many other breeds face, making it a very easy dog to care for as well. Being a dog owner myself I have learned what it takes to care for a dog, meaning I understand the importance of an obedient and healthy dog and by saving this breed we are giving the human race the ability to experience exactly what it's like to have a lifelong companion that is willing to do anything to protect them.

Now you may assume that the dog I own is in fact a Belgian Malinois, but that is incorrect. The dog a I own is a cavapoo and after extensive research the choice, although not easy,  was clear, there was no better breed to save than the Belgian Malinois. If you want to provide the human race with an intelligent, reliable, healthy and loyal companion than side with me and save the Belgian Malinois.

One reason why scientists should choose to vaccinate a German Shepherd female is that German Shepherds are among the most intellgient dog breeds. Growing up, I witnessed this display of intelligence. Both of my German Shepherds learned how to open doors with their paws without being trained to do so. My current dog picks up his food bowl when he is hungry and nudges the water bowl when it’s empty. They both only required a couple weeks of training, whereas my other dogs, Labradors, required twice as much time. They not only make smart family pets, but are also fundamental components of the military, police stations, and disability services. As said from My Assistance Dog Inc, “They’re also incredibly sharp, observant, courageous, trainable, and loyal, which makes them the leading choice for working dogs used by the military, police, TSA, border patrol, and other law enforcement agencies”. This website also discusses how they also have long history as guide dogs and assistant dogs to people with disabilities due to their trainibility. All of these institutions require serious concentration and reliability and thus these dogs are essential assets to humanity.

I believe that that scientists should choose to vaccinate a pregnant German Shepherd mother for several different reasons. First of all, they are intelligent and can serve as good service dogs. Second of all, they are good with the family and children. I have grown up with two different German Shepherds and can back these claims with personal experience. Because I have also grown up with Labradors, Basset Hounds, Golden Retrievers, and Yorkies, and have witnessed other German Shepherds that were not my own exhibiting these traits, I believe I am able to make this decision.

Discussion Continued: Nucleophilic displacement - Formation of an ether by an SN2 reaction

Submitted by crmckenzie on Mon, 04/02/2018 - 17:41

When the nucleophile displaces the iodide, the reaction between the nucleophilic 2-naphthol and electrophilic n-butyl iodide forms butyl naphthyl ether. This is an SN2 mechanism because the first reaction is between NaOH and 2-naphthol which removes the hydrogen from the alcohol group and an oxide ion is formed on the NaOH. The 2-naphthol then displaces the iodide to form butyl naphthyl ether and sodium iodide. In the procedure, the possibility of a side reaction occurring between the deprotonated ethanol is mentioned. If it were somehow possible to stop this reaction from occurring, the results and the percent yield of the ether would probably improve.

With the rapid loss of domestic dogs, the sadness is palpable, and the purity of the golden retriever's spirit will mend the hearts of humanity.  Their calm, fun-loving demeanor is a reminder to live in the present and enjoy the little things in life.  Dogs have been a part of our lives for millennia, and have become deeply intertwined with the human identity.  I promise that by saving the golden retriever, all dog breeds we knew and loved before will return with successive breeding.  The golden retriever is a perfect example of the wonders of trait selection in dogs, and will serve to inspire the rebuilding of dog breeds all around the world with its beauty and charisma.

These dogs are an incredible and useful tool that our Police, and military are able to use for a number of different tasks. Losing breeds like the German Shepard could be very detrimental to our police force here in America and our military overseas. They are used as guard dogs, attack dogs, they help find drugs and bombs, and help to rescue people. Without these dogs, the productivity of the forces that keep our country safe may be greatly diminished. The German Shepard is a charismatic, intelligent, useful, and affectionate dog breed and these characteristics make it the perfect candidate to receive the vaccine for the retrovirus.

There is one dog that is found on this planet that is versatile in every way not only can it perform jobs for the government and military, but it is capable of being a loving companion and family dog. The German Shepard is one of Americas most popular dog breeds and there is a good reason for it. The German Shepard excels in athletic ability, it can be easily trained, and outside of some inbreeding is an incredibly healthy and resilient breed. German Shepard’s are also known for having medium to large litter sizes with the average being 8 puppies and ranges in litter sizes from 1 to 15 puppies. This large litter size could help the population rise faster than other breeds could. In addition, these puppies are very charismatic, energetic, and intelligent and have big floppy ears until they are a couple of months old making them very adorable. The German Shepard is an incredibly charismatic and loved dog, however, its friendliness and loyalty are equally matched by its usefulness in our police and in our military.

The Tuskegee syphilis study was conducted in 1932 and involved 600 black men, 399 who contracted syphilis and 201 who did not have the disease, they were persuaded to participate in the study by the Public Health Service who provide free meals and medical examinations for participants as they were testing for “bad blood”. However this was not true at all, there were no medical services provided to the men who participated in the experiment and hundreds died slow and painful deaths even after penicillin was discovered to be the best treatment for syphilis, none of the men were ever offered the one drug that could have saved their lives.
