There is a stark contrast in the balloon length and weight between the male and female spiders, with heavier females having a longer balloon length and heavier males having a shorter balloon length. The shortest balloon lengths generated the greatest distance travelled by males contrasting to the females where the longest balloon lengths showed the larger distances travelled.
