NHC Summer Fellowships for 2014

NHC summer fellowships were in 2014 to two Organismic and Evolutionary Biology graduate students, Scott Schneider, a student of Ben Normark in the Biology Department, studied armored scale insects, a significant economic pest, and Anne Stengle, a student of Paul Sievert in the Department of Environmental Conservation received and award for her study "Genetic variation, habitat seletion, connectivity, and viability of timber rattlesnake (Crotalus horridus) populations in New England". Both Scott and Anne received fellowships in the summer of 2011.

The Natural History Collections Fellowships this year are supported by the David J. Klingener Endowment Fund.
