Portion of Collections Moved to Morrill North

Dec 06, 2011

The big move is completed! A large portion of the vertebrate collection along with the non-insect invertebrates are now in their newly renovated space in Morrill North.  Climate control, new, compact storage cabinets, and a fume hood are among the improvements to the collections space.  We want to thank Facilities and Planning and everyone else involved in the project for all their time and effort. In particular, Kate Doyle, and student assistants Corbin Brody, Karly Henry, Lora Mathers, Brian Russell, and Taylor Adams took on the task of transporting all of the specimens  and getting them into the new cabinets.  It was a huge undertaking on the part of many people but well worth the effort!
