BCRC Workshops

The BCRC is currently developing a series of workshops for faculty, staff, and students. These workshops will be informal opportunities to learn how to use some of the software and hardware available in the BCRC. Workshops will be offered weekly on alternate Mondays and Tuesdays at 3pm. For each workshop, we propose to develop an outline which will be made available through this page. These outlines will describe the activities covered in the workshop, contain links to other web resources, and answers to questions raised in previous workshops. Initially these will be relatively skeletal, but check back here periodically to see how they evolve over time.

To sign-up for a workshop, please use the following convention:
  1. Compose a new email message to <sbrewer@bio.umass.edu>
  2. Edit the Subject: field
  3. Put BCRC Workshop on the subject line
  4. Put the date of the workshop on the subject line too
  5. Put your name on the subject line.
  6. Send the message (It's OK that there's nothing in the body of the message.)
The result should look like this:
Subject: BCRC Workshop 11/4 Leopold Green

We will also post sign-up sheets on the bulletin board outside the BCRC.

Please contact Steve Brewer <sbrewer@bio.umass.edu>. if you have any questions or ideas for new workshops.
