To Take Practice Exams

For Biology 103, 280, 297:

Finding Question Mark

Double click on the Local Disk icon in the upper right corner of the screen, then on the Applications folder, then on the Biology Applications folder, then on the Question Mark, and finally on the Question Mark icon, a red question mark on a blue background. This will launch the test-taking software.

Taking Tests

In the window that pops up, you may see a list of tests, but they may be for another class. Click and hold down on the bar (which will contain a folder name, for example "Evolution") with a small black triangle next to it, immediately above the list of files, and select Question Mark. This will bring you back "up" a level. The three folders, Cell/Molec, Plant, and Evolution, should be available. Double click on a folder to see it's contents. Once you see the name of the test you wish to take (they are organized by date), double click on it to begin taking the test.

Follow the instructions and take the exam. Generally, you select your answer with the mouse, and then click "Okay". For fill in the blanks, make sure to fill in both before hitting return or clicking Okay

After the Test

When you are done, you may view a report of your answers, and your score. Select Quit from the File menu to quit, or, if you wish to take more tests, you can select Open, which will open up the window pictured above that you saw when you first opened the program, and pick another.
