Identifying a faculty member to sponsor your research

LSAMP participants must be declared majors in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics discipline. (For a list of qualifying majors see the list of majors.) Participation in LSAMP research will occur under the direction of a STEM faculty member. Students are encouraged to consider their career goals and academic interests and match them with the research programs of STEM faculty. LSAMP staff can provide some assistance in identifying faculty sponsors for student research.
