Student Application - Academic Year HHMI Internships

In order to apply for the HHMI Academic Research Internships, you will need to have already identified a faculty member in whose lab you would like to work, and spoken with them and obtained their agreement that they would be willing to supervise your research experience in their lab. Your faculty sponsor should fill out the Faculty Sponsor Form on this website. We will also ask that you have another individual who can speak to your potential to succeed in a research internship fill out a Recommendation Form. Please note that you are responsible for making sure that all parts of your application are complete. We do not contact students to inform them of their application status. Only completed applications are considered.

*UPDATE: If a student is receiving credit for their ARI proposed project, they cannot participate in the program. In other words, a student cannot get credit and be paid for the same research project.
