| About the ImageEric Hilton preparing specimens during the 2002 Alabama Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo as seen through the mouth of a shark. The complete skeleton is a UMass specimen; it should be through its preparation by December 2002. Each year, the Bemis lab extended research group spends a week or two at the Alabama Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo and Dauphin Island Sea Lab in July, where we collect and prepare skeletons of fishes for the UMass Ichthyology Collection. | |
