Bugs, Bones, and Base Pairs Journal Club

Fall 1998

Format: A mixture of paper presentations, ongoing lab research projects, and outside speakers, with a focus on development and neurobiology in (but not restricted to) Drosophila. Sample topics include: apoptosis, biological rhythms, cell/cell signaling, cytoskeletal organization, devolution, gene regulation, new techniques, signal transduction, etc... When relevant, speakers should pass out copies of papers to be presented a week ahead of schedule (2 copies/lab). Students can enroll for 1 course credit in Bio 892A (#346491).
